Bullying, harassment, and discrimination often occur along with other workplace issues, such as:​

• Career Management, including performance, promotion, future prospects, departure;​
• Work/Academic Environment including peer relationships, supervisor/ee relationships;​
• Leadership dysfunction, abrasive behavior, workload, group dynamics, unprofessional conduct;​
• Research including authorship, proprietorship, conflict of interest, scientific misconduct;​
• Fair Treatment, including terms or conditions of employment, failure to follow policy or procedure; or​
• Other issues, including safety, housing, ethical dilemmas, and personal issues.​
